Say hello to Vlad!

So who the hell is Vlad you ask, and what brought him into the lead guitar ranks of Haloburn?

Taking you back to his humble beginnings, Vlad was born during the Cold War heyday of the 80's on the other side of the Iron Curtain.

Born of musical blood, his parents instilled in him a great appreciation for traditional music from an early age. Learning to play piano at age 5 he began his journey as a musician that eventually led him to the Windy City of Chicago, IL at age 9.

Being exposed to hard rock and metal bands as a young teen (when MTV still played music videos) it wasn't long before Vlad started playing guitar in high school, with major inspiration stemming from all the usual suspects such as Dimebag, Yngwie, Zakk, Iommi, among others...

He eventually made his way to Boston where he enrolled as a freshman at the prestigious Berklee College of Music.

There he continued advance his craft in various areas of music, mainly business and guitar.  During his senior year he was introduced to the musical stylings of Boston's Haloburn through a good mutual friend Marcus (Car Bomb Drinkin') Latorre.  It was Marcus who also later informed Vlad that Haloburn was looking to audition new lead guitarists since the departure of Alex in early 2008.

The connection was made, CDs were exchanged, and eardrums were shattered as Vlad learned the songs and rocked them better than anyone Haloburn has auditioned and now the wheels are in motion for a NEW chapter in what is Boston's own HALOBURN.

What does that have to do with HALOBURN?
"The End of Heartache" - By local Metal Heroes KILLSWITCH ENGAGE is one of the featured tracks on the game.

Like most Guitar Hero, and Rock Band, band tracks some of these songs are listed "As made famous by".

So guess who lended their vocals to the making of this track. Haloburn's own front man Micah!
Slated to be released this fall on PS3, XBox360, Wii, NDS, listen for Micah's vocals on this track and rock out!
